A good 3D-printed cosplay helmet order starts with understanding exactly what you are buying. Before choosing a design, review these five details so the product matches your project.

1. Confirm the finish level

Look for wording such as raw DIY kit, unpainted, primed, assembled or finished. A raw FDM helmet will normally require sanding, filling, priming and painting. Do not assume a product is finished because the reference artwork is colorful.

2. Review every included piece

The product description should identify what arrives with the order. Visor material, magnets, padding, electronics, straps and finishing supplies should only be expected when the listing specifically includes them.
